LOVE IS ALL AROUND ME, AND HENCE THE JEWEL GLOWS....,
Posted by Glam Insider on 1st February, 2011
You say Feb and there's only one automatic reflex that comes to mind; Valentines' day! Yeah, we are all pretty much still wrapped up in that lovey feeling. A relatively new concept to our side of the world, it's taken everyone by storm. Now there's an occasion and what's the first two things that top the list? Shopping and gifts! No guesses why these occasions are even closer to our hearts then.
Now for those in merry 'coupleville', gifting each other something iconic with your carefully saved piggy banks is the sweetest proclamation of love and nothing beats the gift sections more than jewelry! As for the ones single, hey when will your financial impendence come handy? Stop moping and head to do some exquisite retail therapy, for yourself! Take a friend along for that imploring second opinion.
For the lad in question emptying his wallet, entirely depending upon your budget, earrings are always a safe bet - diamond studs are a standard favorite. But for those who don't mind extending that cost - ruby/emerald/sapphire jhumkas or rhinestone studded platinum hoops will seal the deal; she's gonna be yours for eternity after that!
Rings are always a great pick; but kindly make sure you pick up one that is 'not' her ring finger size in case you don't wanna send the wrong signals. A delicate gold band, an extravagant cocktail rock or simply a silver one - either of these could work for you.
If the necklaces is what you're looking at (especially without her) stay away from the ethnic patterns as it is a matter of personal choice and go in for a chain with an interesting pendant like maybe, her initials, the shape of a deity (if she's the religious kinds) or a heart with a picture of the two of u enclosed inside.
If it's the women who are on the giving end, you're in for luck because it is definitely easier to jewelry-shop for a guy than vice-versa. Firstly subtly tackle the topic of what he prefers in terms of adornments in case you're confused. Now a tiny gold hoop with a diamond looks absolutely smoldering on a guy; if he has an ear-piercing that is. Wait a minute, make him get one otherwise.
If he's totally averse to that idea, purchase a bracelet with his name on it; the metal entirely depends upon your capacity.
Lastly a Harley Davidson pendant (if the biker dude) or even a tennis racquet/football (if a jock) pendant makes for a super jewel gift.
Remember it's the thought that counts, so big or small; take back that little token of love for the one who loves you!
